I am all over Italy, in fact I think the bookmaker is hitting the bong too hard here, Italy +110...somethings up here, Paraguay has that Cabañas story all over them probably dedicated the game to him bla bla bla, never liked that sentimental approach to the game, Italy has the press and his people on their back because the layed and egg in the Mexico game, they are going to show who is the boss here, no match Paraguay for Italy 2-0.
just curious, do you watch soccer? that was in no way intended as an insult or anything, but im just curious as to whether u actually know about paraguay, or are u kinda basing your decision on the italian reputation. i am half italian and half dutch, and a big fan of both teams, and this is going to be a tough match up for the italians. paraguay is a very underated team with a very formidable attack. anta cruz and valdez will provide some problems for the italians at the back, and with the absence of de rossi (their best defensive midfielder) and pirlo, paraguay will control the middle of the pitch courtesy of barrios, rivieros and barretto. they will provide the two strikers with many chances. and italy will look to get out of the game with a win of course, however they will be very cautious as a draw would do just fine for them. this is there toughest game by far so they will have no problem coming out of it with a point. paraguay will be out to prove they are for real. i wont be betting it cuz i will be cheering for italy, however if i had to ii would probably be on a draw as well at paraguay +0.5.... i predict a 0-0 game here.
I remember people gave this poster crap when he pointed out how bad mexico was this year and he was right with mexico.barely getting a draw against an atroocious south african team. I like your posts Napito, and I think you are right on the money with all this talk about Paraguayan talent and Italy's mediocrity. Italy won't win the world cup but they should handle this group pretty easily.The whole group matches up to the italian style of play very well and with paraguay missing Salvador Cabañas should give Italy the advantage.

I really love the under here most of all,especially in a cautious first half.Italy has the better goaltender in Gianluigi Buffon, and the best defender on the pitch in Fabio Cannavaro. Italy is also 3-0 against their group in recent meetings and have outscored the group 10-4 in their recent matches. I think italy advances pretty easily in this mediocre group.

well, i do not intend to pass as a connoisseur of soccer, in fact if you read my post you can probably make that deduction yourself, but.... i do know some of the Paraguay players play on the mexican league, and they are just not up to the level, I am trying to be consistent with my approach and will stick to it until the world cup ends, good luck on your play, as Coldweather says lets get that soccer money.
